- Extra strength as the handle, blade and head are drop forged as a whole rather than just forging the blade like most other brick bolsters in the market
- Specially hardened and tempered blade to provide a long lasting edge

- Domed head extending the usable life by preventing splintering / mushrooming from continued use
- Additional ribs spreading down the sides and the centre of the blade for added strength and a longer life
