Refina 20″ Plaziflex Skimming Trowel

This Refina 20″ Plaziflex Skimming Trowel is designed for finishing and trowelling up topcoat plasters and internal coatings. They are lightweight and easy to use, leaving an excellent finish on the final wet skimming coat. The trowel body has a stainless steel blade with alloy shank and soft handle. This midget trowel slots into the plastic blade holder bracket on the flexible plastic blade. These blades have a foam backing that ensures flexibility across the entire blade. They can be easily replaced and changed for different blade types and sizes.

The Refina 20″ Plaziflex Skimming Trowel is a popular edition to the plasterers tool box. They consists of two parts, a mini trowel and a slotted Plaziflex blade. The blades and midget trowels are easily interchangeable. The default option is the black flexible blade with a foam back supplied with the standard mini trowel. They give an excellent finish and are lightweight to use. They are easier on the arm and joints, cover large areas with less trowel pressure Work on wet plaster.

The trowels do not need breaking in and will give an excellent finish straight away. They are safer to use than steel trowels with no sharp edges to cut or injure. They allow much earlier and faster re coating of previously applied gauges. Old and new surfaces can be blended more easily and are excellent for plastering over old Artex. They are much more comfortable and less tiring to use than steel trowels.
Plaziflex are used for the final trowel of the finishing coat. They skim without the aid of water and leave a good polished finish on the surface. Can be used for trowelling up, flattening, skimming and finishing
